Joe Jones, Owner
I consider my clients friends, and they are all working to create the best looking and sounding experiences for their church community.
Like many in the industry, I was that nerdy kid that wasn’t scared off by the hundreds of knobs on my church’s 40 channel Yamaha sound board. I dove in as a sophomore in high school and 20 years later continue to enjoy learning all things audio, visual, software, and hardware.
I derive a lot of fulfillment in accomplishing projects and helping clients get the best bang for their buck and the highest quality system they can afford. I like seeing the whole thing finalized and wrapped up and people happy.
Tony's humble beginnings trace back to his 12 years at McLean Bible Church in Virginia, working his way up to the position of production and engineering director. Flatirons Community Church provided the opportunity for Tony to move to Colorado where he met Joe. His extensive experience set him up for a bright future with Lucid where he continues to grow today. Tony has found great pride in Lucid’s mission to optimize systems so that our clients can focus on their people and be creative. His drive derives from his love for his family, outdoor adventures, and his impressive ability to skip rocks (16 to 25 skips!). Tony's diverse experiences and commitment to perfection make him a valuable asset to the Lucid team.

Andy White, Install Choreographer
I have a passion for the process. More than anything I enjoy creating a distraction free experience for the creatives using the system and for the people who come for the experience.
Andy is a uniquely intelligent individual with boggling mental abilities; a proverbial ace up Lucid’s sleeve. Andy first crossed paths with Joe while volunteering at Northern Hills Church where Joe was building a brand new video production suite. Joe quickly recognized Andy’s exceptional ability to grasp new concepts and learn adaptively, which in turn led to Andy’s introduction to AVL integration. For Andy, the passion for production was sparked at a young age - while rehearsing with his youth group’s band. In his own words: “I was tired of going up to play bass and having no one there to mix for us.” He began learning on his own how to run a system and mix from scratch. This was only the beginning of a fruitful career for Andy here at Lucid.

Consistency is key in many things: free throws, productivity, baby food, and most importantly; video. Antioch Church in Waco, TX was feeling the disconnect in their video system; made up of two brands and three distinct styles of cameras, and two completely different control systems; they just couldn’t keep up.
